Yong Ming Motor Sdn Bhd was incorporated in Malaysia on 14/11/1972. Before we were known as Yong Ming Motor Sdn Bhd our company was trading under the name of Wing Ming Motor. This company was formed by the late Dato' Cheng Heng Chew in the late fifties as a dealer for Vespa Scooters and Fiat Vehicles.

We Changed the company name to Yong Ming Motor Sdn Bhd because we needed to expand as the sales of both Vespa and Fiat were increasing. In 1973 Yong Ming Motor was awarded a Honda Dealership. We have been able to continue our good sales record due to the experience of our management and foresight. We plan our own forecasting every year and the results will be included into our policies for our sales personnel to achieve.

As of today we have a brand new building with a modern showroom at 241, Batu 4 1/2 Jalan Skudai, Tampoi, 81200 Johor Bahru. It has a conducive atmosphere for our customers to enjoy and easy access to any Honda vehicles that interest them.

Besides the Honda Car Dealership we are also a dealer for Proton Cars. The Proton showroom is currently located at Jalan Kolam Ayer.

We know that in order to maintain our market share we have to provide excellent service to our customers. We formed our service centre in the late seventies and it has now become a full grown service centre equipped with the latest machines and tools. Our intention is to create a service centre that is up to date and to serve our customers as well as possible.

Training and the upgrading of our personnel is our top priority. This is especially important in the service sector where technologies are ever changing.

In the motor industry huge investments are required to be on par with our competitors. Our image to the public, that our company is a strong, trustworthy and reliable company, must be projected. Present and potential customers must have the confidence to buy from our company for they too are putting in a great investment in the cars they buy.

Due to the fast changing situation of the motor industry we are always assessing and adapting ourselves to maintain our position. We are currently evaluating several proposals on how to provide even better levels of service for our customers.
